Overview:
While in a dungeon you may have come across a sealed barrel and run right by thinking it was just part of the decoration. In fact, these interactive barrels provide additional depth while dungeon-crawling throughout Atria. Should you run into one of these barrels you can use an axe-type weapon to destroy it and claim the contents inside. Goodies inside can be provisions to help you along your way such as bandages and potions, gold, jewels, or possibly even a rare. Be careful though, some of these barrels are rigged with traps and contain imprisoned monsters that would love nothing more than to attack the first thing they see once released. Below are a few tips to keep in mind while barrel hunting:
- Though upon single-clicking a barrel it displays 0 items, it’s not really empty.

- Always keep an axe handy while exploring dungeons.
- Utilize the Circle of Transparency. Many of the barrels are hidden behind walls and out of sight.
- Adequate healing and cure potions on-hand are recommended.
- Exercise caution. Most barrels are located in close proximity to very dangerous creatures.
