Every two weeks elections are held throughout the world of Atria in many of the townships.
Any citizen may add themselves to the ballot of their town of citizenship during the campaigning phase and is able to vote in their election during the election phase.
You may see where in the current election cycle your town is in by visiting your town stone and clicking “View Election Information”. It will display the next time players may begin registering themselves as candidates, or if an election is in progress, a list of candidates to choose from to become the new minister.
- Both the process of placing your name on the ballot to run for minister and voting are done through the town stone menu.
There are three phases to the minister election cycle:
- Campaiging – This is the period of time in which citizens are able to add their names to the ballot to run for Minister of their township.
- This period runs for 48 hours.
- Voting – This is the period of time in which citizens may vote for those on the ballot for the next Minister of their township.
- This period runs for 24 hours.
- Governing – This is the period of time, that lasts for two weeks, in which the player that has won the most recent election is able to manage the township bonuses, exiles and assign Commanding Lords before another campaign and voting cycle begins.
- This period runs for 12 days.
